Welcome
to the official website of Tony Penultimate (there are no unofficial ones yet-
but Tony may get lucky soon).
Tony
Penultimate is the pseudonym of Peter from the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.
He has released two albums of his own quirky songs which show all the ill digested
influences of Jake Thackray, Frank Zappa, Tom Lehrer, the Bonzo Dog Doodah Band,
the Temperance Seven and Ivor Cutler, with the occasional touch of Peter Sellers
and The Beach Boys

Orchestra of Great Britain. The band has a new album out called Precious
Little which features 'Smells Like Teen Spirit" which was performed on
Jools Holland's
Hootenanny TV show and kicked off a lot of interest in the ukulele. The Ukes
were recently profiled in Time
Magazine and have toured in the US, Germany, Sweden, Ireland in 2007 and are
due to tour New Zealand in 2008.
'Soppy
and the Sentimentals' can be bought at selected shops or online from Longman
Records and in the US from CD Baby,
you can listen to the title track from the CD cover on your right. There are various
